Warmly greeted by a revitalizing amberela juice and gracious staff; the entrance of the resort is simplistic, nonetheless adopts a touch of creative essence with decorative miniature gardens and an lengthy palm tree walkway that branch out to rooms en route and eventually to the Main Restaurant, Wine cellar and alluring vistas of the 30m pool and cobalt ocean waters.
The property offers a mix of 32 Suites and 2 duplex villas; a unique blend of rooms’ which elude from the norm. I loved the spacious vibe of the room particularly the bathroom (some adorned by a plunge pool!) and the use of buttery and creamy linen interiors which accentuate the authentic Eastern color palette. The Family Villa and Grand Pavilion is worthy mention as well. Purely harmonized for families and friends; this abode offers attention to detail amenities and a personalized butler service! What bliss it would be at the end the day to simply unwind or sink into the colorful day-bed in the verandah accompanied by a refreshing cocktail a good book, while sounds of wildlife, salty fresh air and the panoramic views of the lapping waves hush you to sleep.
The daily fresh-caught seafood and the mouth-watering pastries at the Main Dining restaurant; Latitude is an irresistible mention. I particularly recommend the freshly baked array of soft-golden crusted pastries and the lip-smacking sugary goodies! The dining options also entail a miniature outlet for light crispy pizza for lunch, a Grill restaurant for fresh-caught seafood; a perfect way to unwind the day accompanied by a hint of cocktails and a quirky little pub known as Saltwater Pub which offers a remarkable list of brews.
An intriguing sight that caught my attention from beginning was the unique concept of the Pavilion Wine Cellar. This glass-enclosed cellar is a private rendezvous ideal for a special or sophisticated evening. Enjoy the finest drops of wine accompanied by a beautiful harmonization of colorful illumination that dazzle and accentuate the Wine cellar by night!
The property is also perfected by a Spa Center featuring an array of tantalizing authentic spa treatments and organic ingredients to pamper and nourish one’s body mind and soul. Lastly at a time of your ease do not forget to indulge in the array of unique resort activities/excursions.
