Sri Lanka is an ideal destination for dreamy beach getaways; the jade pendant is situated amidst the seducing waters of the Indian Ocean offering seasonal beach experiences.
Passikudah is small costal situated on the eastern coast of Sri Lanka, the beach is in season between May and November. The virgin beach offers a mesmerizing experience for those who desire a tropical getaway to indulge amid nature’s bliss.
The beach is fringed with palm trees on the soft powder sands as the lazy glimmering waters kiss the shores – a picturesque sight indeed. It is one of the safest beaches for swimming and water sports, can wade up to 50 m out in the sea and still feel the tranquil rhythm of the sea.
Stroll along the endless beaches, as you soak through the water, sand and breeze you will find collections of aquatic treasures displayed by the coast. One of the finer finds is the sand dollar which is indigenous to Passikudah, a charming circular shell with the impression of a flower etched.
In the evening a glass of wine and fine dining by the beach, under the starry heavens seal the satisfaction of a wonderful day in paradise.
