1. Lake Gregory

5. Victoria Park
Victoria Park is situated at the center of Nuwara Eliya town and one of the most well-maintained parks in South Asia. A number of lakes and flowers can be found in the park and it is a paradise and home for a number of hill-country bird species as well.

6. Galway’s Land National Park
Galway’s Land national park is one of the smallest national parks in Sri Lanka. It is now known to be a popular bird sanctuary in Nuwara Eliya. It has different birds and among them, 10 species are Sri Lankan endemics. The park also has wild boar, barking deer and other mammals with valuable tree species of both foreign and local.
7. Hakgala Botanical Gardens
In addition to the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens, Hakgala is another stunning botanical Garden in Sri Lanka which is situated 10 km southeast of Nuwara Eliya. The foot of the Hakgala Rock is known to be a peaceful retreat. It’s divided into various sections by pathway and lawns, such as rose garden, ferns, orchids etc.
