What is it Really like?
Sri Villas is one of the few privately owned properties on the southwest coast of Sri Lanka that can truly be called beachfront with its undisturbed panoramic views of the Indian Ocean. Sitting at the end of a beautiful, rarely visited beach that stretches for half a kilometre, the garden at Sri Villas seamlessly blends into the golden sand. While the villas are equipped to cater to the expectations of modern living, much of the design is based on traditional Sri Lankan homes. High vaulted ceilings, tall louvered doors and windows shading large open spaces provide wonderful ventilation and allow the cooling ocean breeze to permeate the property.
Where is it?
Ten minutes south of Bentota Beach, and five before Kosgoda Beach, is the charming town of Induruwa – home to Sri Villas. The Villas are just 69km away from Colombo. Unlike many of the busier coastal towns, Induruwa enjoys a very peaceful and traditional existence.
From Colombo it is best to allow anything between an hour and a half and three hours. From the airport to Sri Villas we recommend leaving 4-5hrs for the journey during the daytime and 3-4hrs during the night.
Galle is just 45 minutes to one hour away by car.
