What is it Really like?
Ruhunu Safari Camping has been running safaris since 2009 in Yala, Udawalawe & Bundala national parks. Our owners are Sri Lankan & British both with a long pedigree in wildlife adventure. Most of our staff have worked in the camp since the early days & live in the local villages. Our guides have developed a deep knowledge of the mammals, birds, reptiles & insects of the region. We grow as much of our food as possible in our Yala organic garden. Our camps are made from local materials & by local craftsmen.
We are passionate about wildlife & want to share our passion with you. Our aim is to try to give you the best wildlife experience Sri Lanka can offer you.
