Hello Emadhrie and Shiromal
I wanted to thank you for such an amazing holiday (which we are still enjoying!).
The hotel suggestions and activity ideas from Emadhrie have been great.  The Jetwing hotels in particular have been second to none; truly amazing service, really wonderful staff and we loved the attention to helping the environment where possible.
Roy has been superb – we’ve just written in his comments book, please see our entry in the photo attached.
We’ve also completed the Sri Lanka Tailor-made feedback form which I will give to Roy to pass on to you.

Thank you also for all the gifts that Roy has just given us – such a sweet thought.  I particularly love the sarong;  my first degree is in textile design, so I love fabrics, the colours and the design!
I understand that it will be a different driver who will collect us on our last day to take us to Galle and then to the airport – I’m not sure if Roy has mentioned to you but we’d like to go to Colombo for a few hours in the evening before heading to the airport as we have been invited to dinner by Drupathi, I hope this will be ok.  Emadhrie – shall I liaise with you directly to arrange what time we will be collected from Jasper hotel on the 20th?  We have a Sri Lankan number of you need to get hold of us – I think Roy has given this to you?

Thank you for giving us a fantastic tour of your incredible country. We know you don’t guide many Americans so we appreciate you putting up with all of our questions, request and constant lateness! We will not soon forget all of your wisdom, your animated story tells, your moral guides and your amazing chuckle.

I guess we described ourselves as easy to please, but honestly as New Yorkers, it takes a lot to impress and surprise us. We were delighted by your tour everyday.
Henry, With your leadership we saw herds of elephants we never though we’ll see, overcame fears ( Drew: Climbing a very high rock, Liz: Caves) and got to learn first hand of a culture we knew very little about before our arrival in Sri Lanka. Your enthusiasm increased our enthusiasm. Thank you for being our honeymoon spirit guide!

Kathy and I would like to express our gratitude for the excellent job you did during our stay, at all times you made us comfortable and had the feeling that nothing is too much trouble even the trip to see the sunrise!

This is the first time that we have made a holiday using a guide and it has been a wonderful experience and pleasant to be entertaining and relaxing with a depth of information delivered much greater than can be found in any guide book.
It will be with a sad heart that we leave Sri Lanka, but it will always be filled with good memories and a desire to return.
We agree that it is the guide that is delivering the holiday and carries all the responsibility to ensure the customer is happy. We will express these comments on our return home and hopefully push from both sides to change the system for the better.

We had a great trip in Sri Lanka!

Beautiful island and beautiful people. The guide, driver and assistand took the best care of us throughout the entire time.

They also put in a great effort to make our daughter’s day special :) They decorated the bus, arranged with cake, sang a Singaleese birthday song and even gave her a gift!! We really didn’t expect all this!

All the hotels were great. The busy program lead to some late arrival, and early departure – some of the facilities we could have enjoyed forever, I think. We had some comments about the accomodation in Nuwara Eliya on the evaluation sheet – as this seemed a bit less “matured”. The staff really did their best, but was probably somehow less experienced, but the place has great potential.

We have already recommended Jetwing to colleagues here in Singapore :)

Dear Shashini

We had a great time in Sri Lanka. Thanks for that. Your national guide, Don, was obliging and was very knowledgeable!

We certainly took home good memories and even two days ago when some of us met up, we were talking about the trip. The Jetwing Hotel in Dambulla was of extremely high quality as was the Houseboat.

The Jetwing light hotel was beautiful (although rooms were starting to look dated) and even Jetwing Blue was nice.

Don mentioned that Jetwing also arranges trip from Sri Lanka to Maldives. In 2020 for my wife’s birthday, I will be planning a dual trip to Sri Lanka and Maldives and at which point I will certainly reach out to you again.

Separately, on an administrative note, we had altered our itinerary in Kandy by removing the trip to (i) the Tooth Relic Temple and (ii) also not going for the cultural performance.

My friends were not keen on both those items and we preferred to rest in the hotel. In view of the ticket fees not incurred for these two items, will you be able to provide a refund of the same (on the basis that our total all in cost had assumed these fees)? Do let me know. Thanks!
